Effective date: September 11, 2026
These Terms of Use apply to this website and to repair requests you send through it. The site is operated by Dacor Appliance Repair Los Angeles in Los Angeles, California.
By using the site or submitting a request, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the forms or rely on the pages here.
Questions: [email protected] or (310) 742-1907. Hours are Mon–Sat 8:00 AM–7:00 PM, Sunday Closed. We do not list a street address or a second phone number on this page.
What this website is for
These pages help you understand common Dacor appliance problems, models, error codes, services, and the cities we cover, and they give you a way to request a visit.
The articles are general information. They are not a substitute for a technician looking at the appliance, especially when the job involves live electrical work, gas, sealed refrigeration, or microwave high-voltage parts.
Service requests
The Request Service form, an email to [email protected], or a call to (310) 742-1907 is a request — not a confirmed appointment by itself. It does not guarantee:
- that we can take the job that day
- that your ZIP code is in the service area
- a specific arrival window
- a specific technician
- a diagnosis from the description alone
- that a part is in stock
- a fixed price before we see the appliance
- that every appliance can be repaired
We confirm the appointment before any visit or charge. Please give accurate contact details, ZIP code, appliance information, and any safety issue you already know about (a gas smell, a leak, a breaker that keeps tripping).
Diagnosis and estimates
A model number or error code can point us in the right direction. It does not prove which part has failed.
If we give an estimate after inspection, we wait for your approval before paid repair work goes ahead, unless you and the technician have already agreed on another process for that visit.
The scope can change if we find more damage, a hard-to-reach install, or a different part than the first look suggested.
Parts
Part availability, fit, shipping time, and price depend on the model and the supplier. We will not treat a part as guaranteed until we have confirmed it.
Special-order, installed, opened, electrical, electronic, gas, or refrigeration parts often cannot be returned the same way as a boxed shelf item. See the Refund, Return, and Cancellation Policy.
Your responsibilities
Please:
- share the model and what the appliance is doing, when you can
- give safe, lawful access to the appliance
- tell us about leaks, gas odor, burning smells, tripped breakers, or overheating
- secure pets and arrange gate, parking, or building access
- leave built-in appliances in place unless we ask you to move them
- stop using an appliance if using it looks unsafe or may cause more damage
Payments
Payment method, diagnostic charge, labor, parts, and any deposit are explained on the estimate, invoice, or receipt for that job — not as a single price on this website. This page does not set a universal fee or deposit.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel or move an appointment, email us as soon as you can at [email protected], or call (310) 742-1907.
We do not post a blanket cancellation fee. A fee or a non-refundable special-order charge applies only if it was disclosed for that job and the law allows it. More detail is on the Refund Policy.
Repair results and any warranty
Results depend on the age and condition of the appliance, earlier work, parts, access, and the actual cause of the failure.
A labor or parts warranty applies only if we actually offered one on the estimate, invoice, receipt, or written service terms for that visit. A sentence on this website does not create a warranty we did not give you. We do not publish a warranty length here.
Nothing in these terms takes away rights you cannot legally waive under California or federal consumer law.
Safety
Stop using the appliance and request service if you notice a persistent gas odor, an active leak, an electrical burning smell, a breaker that keeps tripping, uncontrolled heat, or food that will not stay at a safe temperature.
Owner checks on this site stay at the outside of the appliance: look, listen, and simple settings. Do not bypass a safety device or open high-voltage, gas, or sealed refrigeration systems.
Website content and other sites
Guides, error-code pages, and model notes can fall behind a later software or parts change. How we write and correct that material is explained in the Editorial & Repair Content Policy.
Links to manuals, maps, or other sites are controlled by those operators. A link does not mean every tip on that page fits your exact model.
Intellectual property
The writing, layout, and original graphics on this site belong to us or our licensors. Manufacturer names, model numbers, and logos belong to their owners.
What you may not do
Do not use this website to:
- send fake or abusive service requests
- interfere with the site or try to break into it
- send malware
- copy protected pages in a way the law does not allow
- pretend to be someone else
- use the site for anything unlawful
Limitation of liability
Website articles are provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, liability that comes only from reading general website information is limited to direct losses caused by a legally actionable breach. We do not exclude liability that the law says we cannot exclude.
Governing law
These terms follow California law and applicable federal law, without taking away mandatory consumer rights.
Changes
We may update these terms when the site or the law changes. The effective date at the top will change when we publish a material update.
How we handle personal information is in the Privacy Policy.
