Dacor Wall Oven U50 Error Code

A U50 (upper or single oven) or L50 (lower oven) on a Dacor wall oven is a latch lock failure. After a lock command is sent, 80 seconds pass without the lock switch closing. It appears for the Renaissance EOR and MOR ovens (EORS, EORD, MORS and MORD 127-230) and for the 27-inch and 30-inch ovens in the Dacor Wall Oven Service Manual. The Renaissance guide describes it as a fatal error where the door lock is not detected while locking.

The manual lists a door that is not closed or not shut tight, and says to verify that the door is closed properly and close it properly. Make sure the door is closed properly, then try the lock again.
